Valve is so behind on Steam Controller orders that some won't ship until 2027

Valve's revived Steam Controller is proving more popular than Valve can build them — new reservations made today are landing in the 2027 queue, which is a long time to wait for a gamepad. The good news is Valve says they're not killing the product; the less-good news is 'we want to manage expectations' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. If you were hoping to grab one soon, this is a sit-and-wait situation.
